Reach out to arrange a complimentary first conversation. We’ll talk through your ideas, your space, and what you hope to achieve. From there, I’ll recommend the next steps and outline the design scope and estimated fees for your approval. If your project involves construction, this is also a good time to start connecting with trusted local contractors or craftspeople to check their availability.

Together, they create the foundation for a home or workplace that supports daily life. A well-planned layout makes routines easier and adapts as needs change, while considered materials contribute to comfort, a healthier indoor environment, and lasting value. Trends evolve and may fade, but good structural bones remain useful and enjoyable. By balancing proportion, light, color, and texture, I bring individual character to that foundation—creating interiors that feel harmonious and hold their appeal over time.

I charge by the hour, allowing the services to reflect the size and needs of your project. After our complimentary first conversation, I’ll provide an estimate based on the scope we agree on. This is a guide rather than a fixed price; the final fee depends on the design work, revisions, and any changes along the way. Clear priorities and timely feedback help us use that time effectively.

Your budget helps shape the design from the beginning. Together, we’ll clarify what it needs to cover—from design fees and furnishings to materials and labor—and identify where your investment will make the most difference. I can help prioritize selections or plan improvements in stages. You’ll manage the overall budget, contractor costs, and purchases, with my design guidance supporting your decisions along the way.

My services focus on design and guidance, with flexibility to support a single room or a broader vision for your home or business. This might mean rethinking a kitchen, improving a full basement layout, or developing a cohesive concept throughout your entire home. I don’t currently offer turnkey delivery or overall project management. You arrange purchasing, construction, and installation, with my design support available within our agreed scope.

Once you introduce us, we’ll clarify everyone’s role and how we’ll communicate. Within our agreed scope, I can explain the approved design, discuss details, and provide design walkthroughs at key stages to help keep the work aligned with your vision. Any proposed design changes come back to you for approval. Your contractor remains responsible for construction, scheduling, and coordinating the trades to realize the design intent.

Timing depends on the size of your project, the level of detail involved, and how quickly we work through decisions together. We’ll discuss an anticipated schedule at the start and revisit it if the scope changes. Sharing your priorities and providing consolidated feedback helps keep things moving. Construction schedules and product lead times will also influence when the finished space comes together.
